The ACA currently mandates that private insurance, ACA insurance and Healthy Texas Women-Medicaid (HTW) must cover 1 of each type of birth control without a co-pay. If you do not qualify for Healthy Texas Women or Family Planning Program funds, ask about cash pay discount or sliding scale.
